Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, was a beehive of eminent personalities across society and political lines when the wedding train moved to the ancient city for the traditional marriage of the children of two political bigwigs in the Southwest.

Oladipo Dabiri, son of Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Senior Special Assistant on Foreign Relations and the Diaspora to President Muhammadu Buhari, tied the nuptial knot with Ayomide, daughter of Ogun State Governor Ibikunle Amosun.

Their wedding was a grand event attended by who-is-who in the political and celebrity scene. The parents ensured that the high-class shindig lived up to expectation with the high society men that graced the wedding.

The second leg of the wedding is scheduled for later in the year. The long list of guests include the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and his wife, Dolapo; Lagos Governor Akinwunmi Ambode; Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari; and several governors and ministers.
