From ODAAwards, honour comes for outstanding Nigerians

­Plans have reached advanced stage for the maiden edition of Outstanding Dignitaries Achievement Awards otherwise known as ODAAwards. According to the organisers, the award is designed to reward outstanding Nigerians have contributed immensely to humanity and economic development of the country over the years.
 
In the words of Princess Olukemi Egbeyode, a Lagos-based TV and movie producer, who is also the brain behind the project, “We have observed that in recent times people who have done greatly in various intellectual industries had not been celebrated or honored as they should.”

The moviemaker also stated that the award focused on men and women, who have done excellently well in their areas of profession, industries and works.
Those that have become achievers, by means of creating jobs/entrepreneurs, developing their industry, environment and society, those that have represented the country in one way or the other with high held integrity and honor, will be celebrated at the maiden edition of the event. 
 
Some of the awardees included Dr. Taiwo Afolabi, Princess Toyin Kolade, Oba Adetola Emmanuel king, (ceo aderon homes) Barrister Biyi Otegbeye, Princess Ronke Ademiluyi, (Founder African Fashion Week Nigeria/London), Ademilola Odujinri, Mutiu Adepoju, Funke Oshinaike, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KI de Ultimate), Dr Sunny Kuku, Falilat Ogunkoya, Mrs Laja Adedoyin (Founder, Heart Of Gold Hospice) and others. 
 
The event is a one-day programme with lots of glamour and celebrations. Many dignitaries, obas, celebrities, Nigerians in Diaspora and foreigners will be in attendance. Oba Adéyeyè Enitan Ògúnwùsì (Òjàjà II) Ọnirisa of Ilé-Ife the Royal father of the day.
