After months of construction work, Franjane Royal Suites located in Okota, Lagos, has finally opened its doors to customers. The 40 rooms – based hotel, with apportioned modern and sophisticated facilities, boasts of excellent and professional service delivery culture.

The official opening ceremony, which was conducted by Rt. Rev. Dr. and Mrs. James O. Odedeji, of the Anglican Diocese of Lagos West, brought together friends, colleagues and some stakeholders in the hospitality industry, who were on ground to witness the opening.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of the hotel, Sir Francis Okeke, assured that the hotel is poised to change the face of hospitality industry in the area.

“It hasn’t been easy so far, but we thank God; with God, all things are possible. Today, we are celebrating because we are having a grand opening of this edifice. It’s not by my might, but by the grace of God the maker,” he said.

While conducting guest on a tour of the hostel, Okeke assured that all plans have been put in place to ensure the standards are sustained.

“I know it’s not easy, but I believe there must be an improvement from what is obtainable elsewhere. I’m aware of the obvious challenges in this sector, but we’ve put all measures in place to ensure we give customers the best. When you go round, you will see things for yourself; then you will be able to compare with other places that you see around here.”

On how he intends to deal with the obvious completion within the location, the CEO said, “If you enter the rooms here, you will see that the facilities are exceptional; we have made provision for shuttle buses and vehicles for our customers. Go to our laundry room and you will see that we’ve put the best in place; we are about standard. In this business, people have their own way of operating, but all I can assure you is that qualified staff to manage this place. However, I’m not in competition with anybody,” he noted.

On the issue of security, he said, “If you look around here, you will see our patrol van; we are very serious with the security of our customers. Here, we have CCTVs installed everywhere. This road used to be very bad, but since we moved in here, I decided to do palliative measures on the road; that’s part of our corporate social responsibility to this community,” he concluded.
