Finally…Davido Is Now A Graduate

HKN star, Davido is just few weeks away from being officially pronounced a graduate. Weekend Beat gathered that the Aye singer has just finished his final exams, and left to tidy up is his project before the graduation ceremony which comes up on June 7.

The multiple award-winning hit maker excitedly shared graduation his story on Wednesday as he finished his final paper. He talks about how he dropped out of school in America to focus on music and how he’s been able to find his way back to become a graduate.

The self-professed Omo Baba Olowo (O.B.O) wrote on his instagram handle: “Last paper done!!! Finally about to become a graduate!!! Been a long and hard journey I won’t lie; I remember dropping out of school in America in 2011 for music. After a year, my dad demanded that I finish my education even though success had come my way.

“It didn’t make sense going back to me; I had it all in my eyes… homes, cars, money, name it. But after encouragement from peers and family members, I’m finally done and happy to say this degree is my most cherished asset. Eagle graduating class, Babcock University, graduation day, June 7,” he said.
