Ramadan is the holy month for Muslims in Nigeria and around the world and comes around just once in a year. We know you have been devoted to Ramadan activities and it is has all come to an end now. This weekend, parties would be thrown and you want to look your best while going to the mosque, going for a get-together or simply entertaining guests at home. Use this Ramadan as an opportunity to show off your unique style, within the parameters of the faith naturally.

Now, while there’s no mandate on colour, pattern, or detail; linens, light colours, and metallic fabrics to add richness is definitely a winner. Add embroideries and embellishments to further accentuate the dress and make it uniquely attractive in a modest way. This year, midi-lengths, metallics, and bell sleeves have stood out as big trends among Muslim women. For many women, it is an opportunity for more statement-making outfits than what they would buy at other times of the year because this is really the month to pull out all the stops in terms of having fun with their looks, buying gorgeous caftans, opulent jewellery, and amazing shoes.

Don’t forget to go all out on accessories, from earrings to neck pieces, bangles and rings, ensure you’re ‘sparkling’ correctly. In order to ensure your makeup doesn’t run, wear light, long-wear makeup that will stay on for the greater part of the day. We have put together some looks to guide you in selecting your Eid look but all in all, just remember to look good and have fun
