Park Plans Summer Paluza For Children

Management of Hi-Impact Planet Amusement and Resorts, located at Km 12, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, continues to make good its promise to add more exciting games for the thrilling experience of patrons at every opportunity. Last week, Nigeria’s largest amusement park added two water-based rides to its already exciting packages.

The Flume Ride and slide and splash HIP Pool are the two additions that set patrons swooning when they were opened to the public, which also had a taste of the high velocity rides, particularly the Flume Ride that washed riders into a pool of water in a thrilling splash down below.

According to the Managing Director of the park, Prince Adeyeloye Lipede, “As you know, Hi-Impact Planet is borne out of the need to close the gap in the niche for entertainment in Nigeria… From our electrifying rides to our thrilling and exciting indoor games, we bring you to Nigeria’s version of Disney and Euro park, with the African touch.  The ambience of the African jungle, the water-spraying elephant, the kingly lions and the gorilla or ‘king kong’ all encompass the Africanness of our theme park…”

With children at the core of its activities, founders of Hi-Impact Planet have a surprise for them this summer holidays, as children will be treated to what is called Summer Pauza. It starts from July 17 through August 17 and would serve as a summer camp for children who are ready roll up their sleeves and simply do things artistic, practical and creative with their hands.

Activities lined up for the exciting period include learning how to cook, bake, make mouth-watering pizzas, attend face-painting classes, graphic design and an array of other activities to fill up summer time.

According to Head, Marketing at Media, Victoria Odimba, the summer promises so much for children, who will visit the park. Odimba boasted that the park could compete with Disneyland and international parks and other fortune 500 corporations like Google.

Head of Sales, Nneka Elege, also assured that every Children’s Day, May 27, is free entry for school children, especially for schools that are invited to be part of the fun. She also said there were specially discounted packages for schools that book ahead of time, usually about half of the regular cost per child.

Lipede also disclosed an upcoming collaboration between Media Solution and Infortech and Tade Ogidan Production towards a movie shoot due in October.

Chairman of the company, Prince Adeyanju Lipede assured patrons of the park’s strict safety rules, saying its vision is based on research and development, as it has a strong European and American partnership on regular maintenance and servicing of the facility. He said as a child-based facility, management would not relent in maintaining efficiency at all times, adding, “We have taken the interest of children to heart; they must first be satisfied through the things that make for their safety and enjoyment.”
