Beautiful Nigerian-born Irish banker, Tina Atinuke Akinola, has got yet another feathers over her headgear.

The woman of substance was last Saturday, September 8, honoured with the chieftaincy title of Odibeze Ndigbo of Ireland by the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Dublin, Ireland.

The colourful event was part of the activities that heralded this year’s New Yam Festival and the 10th anniversary celebration of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ireland.

The event, tagged ‘A Night of Culture, Music and Dance,’ which was held at the prestigious Clayton Hotel (formerly Clarion Hotel) located at Liffey Valley in Dublin, had prominent Igbo sons and daughters and the Nigerian community in attendance.

Highpoint of the cultural night was the conferment of the crown on Akinola by the Eze Ndigbo of Ireland, Emeka Ezeani, with the support of Chief Nnadozie Olumba, Chairman of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ireland, and Chief Chidi Uzoukwu, Secretary general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Ireland and other prominent Igbo high chiefs in Ireland.

The new title is the third to be conferred on the fashionable woman in three years, as the mother of three was installed as the Yeye Oge of Araland in Ife Kingdom by the Alara Oodaye of Araland, Oba Adebisi S. Layade (Aderotimi1) in 2014 and Yeye Oge of Ireland in 2016.
