Produced by Caterina Borolussi of Kinabuti, the six-week-long search for multi-talented undergraduates had taken a team of accomplished entertainment professionals across universities in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Calabar and now back to Lagos.

Now in its fourth season, Dare2Dream is an annual movement that combines masterclasses, panels, media tours, and auditions to equip and identify young people with entertainment aspirations in dance, singing, fashion and modelling. This year, the business of music, fashion, lifestyle and digital media monetizing have featured in the conversations across states. Celebrated names such as Denrele Edun, Noble Igwe, Osagie Alonge, TY Bello, Akin Faminu and Bolinto have spoken to hundreds of youths who trooped out to the audition venues to register for the hunt.

In Calabar, where the campus tour culminated, the Dare2Dream team along with Season 3 winners paid a courtesy visit to Donald Duke, ex-governor of Cross River State.

“All through the planning process, nothing could have prepared us for how big it all turned out. And it couldn’t have been this successful without the youths who turned up and our partners who kept bringing more fun with games, free make up, hair styling and prizes for the students who came to audition,” said Caterina Borolussi, creative director of Dare2Dream.

The shortlisted multi-talented models resume to bootcamp at the Federal Palace Hotel tomorrow, Sunday. These performers and designers will have a lifetime opportunity to perform on the final Dare2Dream stage next Sunday, where the winners will emerge.

Tee Jay, a Voice Jockey and MC from University of Lagos had this to say: “I love the fact that Dare2Dream is giving the youths a voice telling us that we are not the leaders of tomorrow but we are the leaders of today because today is here. We rarely see brands that look out for the youths without an ulterior motive, but this platform has shown that its sincerely interested in the growth and progress of the youths.”
