THE cross-border comedy movie ‘30 Days in Atlanta’ which reportedly grossed N140 million naira in box office sales was last week named Film of the Year by the organisers of the annual Creative Industry Awards. The awards organised by the Creative Entrepreneur Association of Nigeria (CEAN) in conjunction with the British Council was instituted to reward initiatives, talents, creativity, and Entrepreneurship. 

     Finalists of the different categories of the award are judged on the merit of their entrepreneurial abilities in the Industry, leadership skills and marketing knowledge. Starring Ayo Makun who is popular as AY and Ramsey Nouah Jnr in lead roles, ’30 Days in Atlanta also featured some of the sectors leading actors like Richard Mofe Damijo, Mercy Johnson and Rachel Oniga. 

   It was produced by AY and directed by Robert Peters. Also, on the same award evening, The AY Show won for the third consecutive year (since 2013) the TV Comedy Show of the Year, while AY was named The Creative Entrepreneur of the Year, an award that is believed to be the highest honour of the Night. For AY, winning three awards is a fulfilling milestone for the cast and crew. He commended the organisers of the award and noted that credits for the success of the movie should go to all the cast and crew.
