At ten, Ciuci Consulting celebrates, rewards outstanding entrepreneurs

As part of activities to mark its 10th anniversary, Ciuci Consulting, Nigeria’s leading strategy and consumer intelligence company, recently partnered with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) to honour selected enterprises through the launching of the Nigeria Business Composite 10 (NiBC 10).

The project is a selection of 10 successful Nigerian Enterprises, who have exhibited high potentials for growth and have over the years maintained a brilliant track record. Aside celebrating these companies, the aim is to inspire confidence in the Nigerian society and its potential to produce thriving businesses.

The NiBC10 Companies are House of Tara, Bestman Games, Iya Foods, L’Avyanna, Everyday Supermarkets, DBH Solutions, Ugo Monye Limited, Healthcare Leadership Academy, Private Sector Health Alliance of Nigeria and Massey Street Children’s Hospital.

The event, which lasted for about 2 hours featured speeches from Pai Gamde, the Acting Head, Corporate Services, NSE; Nimi Akinkugbe, CEO of Bestman Games; Chukwuka Monye, the Managing Partner of Ciuci Consulting; and a documentary that told the story of Ciuci’s journey in the last ten years.

Speaking on the initiative, the Acting Head, Corporate Services, NSE, Pai Gamde said, “We are delighted to partner with Ciuci Consulting on the NiBC 10 initiative. It aligns with our commitment to promoting and supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Nigeria, by providing a framework that can help mentor SMEs in the country. At the NSE, we have a strong support system for such companies as our ASEM board provides them a platform for growth and expansion. A platform we hope these companies will leverage in the coming months.”

According to Chukwuka Monye, “Nigerian entrepreneurs need to see examples of business men and women that are working hard and creating successful businesses in the same environment that many fear to explore. We have worked with each of the 10 companies, who are at different growth stages and are pleased to recognize them and encourage them for what they do.”

While receiving his award, the CEO of Everyday Supermarket Dr. Charles Dimnwaobi, said, “We are honoured to be one of the NiBC10. I must say that I am proud that Ciuci Consulting is home grown. This is one professional service brand that offers world class services and understand the local environment and most importantly, they understand their clients.”

Other business sector players in attendance at the event included Temitope Akin-Fadeyi, CBN; Danladi Verheijen, Verod Capital; Ladell Robbins and Ulunma Onokala, Africa Capital Alliance; and Ndidi Nwuneli, AACE Foods. Other guests included Senator Mike Ajegbo, Mr. Peter Elumelu, Mr. Fela Durotoye, Mr. Nicholas Okoye, Mr. Weyinmi Jemide, Mrs. Tara Fela-Durotoye, Mrs. Ini Abimbola, Mr. Boye Olawoye, Mrs. Nimi Akinkugbe and Mrs. Hala Daggash.
