Mortgage firm in Goshen Garden City project
One of the leading primary mortgage institutions – Delta Trust Mortgage Bank has completed the first phase of its Goshen Garden City in Edo State.
The completed 20 bungalows are part of the proposed 200 units, which comprises bungalows and 85 duplexes. The housing estate sits on 32 hectares of land at Amufi community, near Benin.
The first batch of subscribers will be moving into the newly competed 20 housing units before June.
Amenities proposed are health care complex, shopping mall, water, police station\CCTV, re-creation centre, standby 33 KVA power generator and security.
Managements of the mortgage bank, led by its Chairman, Chris Ebbihi who revealed this during a courtesy call to the Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Justin Okonobo said that some of the buildings on completion would be sold to interested persons while some interested persons will be offered access to mortgage.
Okunobo urged the people of the state to take advantage of the project to reduce housing challenges in the state capital, Benin City.
He expressed satisfaction about the initiative of the housing units project. He thanked the groups for the visit and promised the leadership of the Edo State House of Assembly will support the project.
