One of the leading real estate companies, Homework Development and Properties Limited has showcased its affordable real estate products in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

Homework has made remarkable progress in resolving housing deficit through its products located at Banana Island, where it has a small gated community of terraces and semi-detached duplexes and at Lekki Phase I with Dunvale Terraces.

Other projects include Rowland’s Court, which consists of maisonettes at Elegushi in Lekki; Dunvale Court, an estate of three bed and four bed terraces as well as units of one and two bedroom apartments, both situated along Orchid Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

The Director of Homework Development and Properties Limited, Jide Adekola, an architect, changed the perception of foreign investors on the sector at a conference organised by the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

Adekola who spoke at the conference that attracted several hundreds of physicians and other professionals, created an awareness that there are professionals in the sector who are able to provide quality products in due time.

He provided a platform, which aided in changing perception that foreign investors would not get value for money or might get scammed in Nigeria.

He affirmed that ANPA members, who have benefited from the unswerving services of the company, requested that Homework should participate in the conference in order to take the Nigerian success story to the outside world.

Adekola said that the event exposed Homework to ANPA’s publications, increased networking and sales leads, the needs of customers and the property market. It also increased trust in foreign investors in the Nigerian real estate market, and has boosted awareness that there is a unique selling point in the company’s products which are delivered by professional architects.

He explained that the real estate sector, which is inundated with issues of trust, lack of finance and presence of charlatan, can be saved if government subsidises the cost of land for credible developers who have the capacity to provide affordable housing.
