Yenagoa, Bayelsa – The Niger-Delta Environmental Justice Coalition (NDEJC) has condemned in strong terms a video circulating on social media, purporting to show a protest against High Chief Government Ekpemupolo, alias Tompolo, and his security outfit, Tantita Security Services Limited.

The video, which has been widely shared on social media, shows a group of individuals claiming to be from the Niger-Delta region, protesting against Tompolo and Tantita Security Services Limited.

The protesters are seen carrying placards and banners with misleading messages, accusing Tompolo and Tantita Security Services Limited of wrongdoing.

However, The Niger-Delta Environmental Justice Coalition has discovered that the protest was staged by individuals who were hired to discredit Tompolo and Tantita Security Services Limited.
The coalition has also found that the protesters were not from the Niger-Delta region, but were brought in from other parts of the country to carry out the malicious act.

The NDEJC have condemned the protest as a “shameful and desperate attempt” to discredit Tompolo and Tantita Security Services Limited. “We totally condemn the video and dissociate ourselves from the purported protest,” said Comrade Abalagha Adawari, Spokesman for the NDEJC.

“The video is a fake and misleading attempt to undermine the good work of Tompolo and Tantita Security Services Limited.
We urge the public to disregard it.”

The coalition has also called on the authorities to investigate the source of the video and take appropriate action against those responsible. “We demand that the authorities investigate the individuals and organizations behind this malicious act and bring them to justice,” said Comrade Adawari.

The NDEJC has also urged the public to be vigilant and not to fall for such misleading information. “We urge the public to always verify information before accepting it as true.

We must not allow mischief makers to divide us and undermine our collective efforts to promote environmental justice and security in the Niger-Delta region.”

Furthermore, the NDEJC has commended Tompolo and Tantita Security Services Limited for their tireless efforts in promoting environmental justice and security in the Niger-Delta region. “We commend Tompolo and Tantita Security Services Limited for their dedication and commitment to the Niger-Delta region. We will not allow malicious individuals and organizations to discredit their good work,” said Comrade Adawari.
