The KOWA Party Senatorial Candidate for Enugu East senatorial zone in the 2019 general election, Prof. Jehu Onyekwere Nnaji, yesterday, berated the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for ceding its senatorial ticket for the zone to former governor of the state, Dr. Chimaroke Nnamani.

Nnaji, a United States based professor of International law, moments after picking the ticket of the party in Enugu described the development as a mockery of the people and democracy at large for the former governor to attempt returning to the senate.

“He was a two-term governor of this state and later became a senator.

My question will now be, is there anything that he didn’t do that he will now want to do newly?
Was there anything that Nnamani forgot to do then that he wants to do now?

So if his answer will be “yes”, then he has to tell us what that will be, but if it is no, I will advise my comrade brother, Nnamani to quietly step down and allow fresh brains and ideals into the system. Sincerely, he didn’t do well and should please quit”, he said.
