APC has overcome its challenges, says Yusuf
PEACE may have been restored into the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) following the initial hiccups that trailed the appointments into offices at the National Assembly.
The party had been dogged by internal wrangling particularly over the election of principal officers of the two chambers of the National Assembly, which at a time degenerated into a chaotic session.
According to a chieftain of the party in Kwara State, Alhaji Suleiman Yusuf, the top echelons of the APC have allegedly urged all the faithful of the party to bury the hatchet and consolidate on the present gains within the party in the overall interest of the nation and her people.
Suleiman who fielded questions from reporters in Ilorin, during the grand finale of the anniversary of the 53rd birthday of the Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, said: “We are now happy with the development at the APC. There are no more crises and everybody has forgotten about the past and we are ready to move on and churn the true benefits of democracy to Nigerians.
“In politics, we agree to disagree and when necessary we disagree to agree. What happened at the National Assembly at the start of this dispensation were mere family squabbles that had since been resolved. We are happy and we are moving on from that level to a bigger and brighter level.”
Meanwhile, over 500 Moslem clerics converged on Ileloke Ilorin residence of Saraki, praying for a prolonged life for him.
According to Imam Gambari Sheik Wale Ahmad who led the prayers, the best gift that God could bestow on any man was the gift of life, urging Saraki to dutifully discharge his Constitutional duties, as this would automatically bestow long life on him.
The event put together by Saraki’s aide, Yusuf, was in honour of the Senate President’s 53rd birthday anniversary which comes up today.
Yusuf while justifying the development said, “Saraki had rendered a lot of welfare services to the people of Kwara State. We pray that he will continue to remain relevant in the political scheme of things. He should continue to be relevant in the economic life of Nigeria and the world.
“He is a leader to be followed and we will continue to follow him. Those who are yet to accept him as a leader should accept him. Whether they accept him or not, Almighty Allah has accepted him. We pray he will continue to control the politics of Nigeria, the politics of Middle Belt, North Central and Kwara State.”
Furthermore, he said: “During his tenure as the Senate President, we are sure that Nigeria will enjoy development, peace and political stability. You can see that during his tenure as Governor in Kwara State, he was governor for eight years.
“Many roads were constructed, many people were empowered. In terms of finance, housing, vehicles, motorcycles and other facilities, he doled them out like water. This is the type of leader that we want.
He emulated his father, late Senator Olusola Saraki, (Olooye.) He emulated the step of his father to control Nigeria and Kwara State. We have to support him in prayer that Almighty Allah will give him long life more than his father because we enjoyed his father. His father spent 79 years but we want Bukola to spend at least 130 years and we will continue to follow and our great grand children will continue to follow him.”

Of course he will remain relevant by scamming and looting his way jst as his father did before him and he has always been doing n the reason Kwara state is backward and Ilorin has never developed. You guys have sold your birthright to this family of corruption for the little crumbs he throws at you for this kind of cheap publicity n you’r ever proud of it., and your descendants will continue to be enslaved to them. Good luck to u.
We will review and take appropriate action.
