The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly candidate for Abeokuta South Constituency I in Ogun State, Solomon Enilolobo, has dumped his ambition and declared support for the second term bid of Governor Dapo Abiodun.

Enilolobo announced his stepping down from the election scheduled for Saturday when he led his supporters to Iperu-Remo residence of the governor to decamp to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He said PDP in Ogun is not only lawless, but has total disregard and disrespect for the rule of law.

RELATEDLY, a former Chairman of the PDP Arewa Solidarity Forum, Shuaib Ganga and scores of supporters from Sagamu Local Council of the state have defected to the APC.

Ganga said members of the forum were ready to endorse the governor for a second term.
ALSO, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youths, Ogun State chapter, Kingsley Chukwuleta and members of the Igbo community have also backed second term ambition of Abiodun.

Chukwuleta said that the Igbo youths were proud of the achievements of the governor in the last three and half years, adding that they would give 100 per cent support to the governor.

Abiodun, in his response, commended the Arewa Solidarity Forum and the Eze Ndigbo youths of Ogun State for coming forward to show their support for his second term ambition, saying that he was humbled by their support and endorsement.
