The Pan-Atlantic University (PAU) Governing Council has approved the appointment of Dr Peter Bamkole as the university’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration).
His appointment took effect on June 19, 2024. Before his new elevated position, Bamkole was the varsity’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Bamkole was the pioneer Director of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC), at Pan-Atlantic University serving from January 2003 to December 2022.
He is a mechanical engineer and has an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona Spain, and a PhD in entrepreneurship and innovation from the International School of Management (ISM), Paris. He is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School (Chief Executive Programme). His 39 years of cognate experience spans both public and private sectors (oil and gas, water supply and education).
Bamkole consults widely in Sub-Saharan Africa on entrepreneurship development and practice and is the author of the book – Built by Enterprise.
