Osimhen Vs Finidi and Nigeria’s ‘emotionalists’

Emotions have been flying high like kites since Nigeria Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen literally ‘cut chain’ and tore into ex-Super Eagles winger and former Coach, Finidi George, last week. Nobody wants to know why Osimhen threw caution to the winds in that Instagram live video and called George and whoever supported him unprintable names. The issue became “Osimhen is too young to talk back at George”, “Osimhen was not yet born when Finidi George played for the Eagles and across Europe”… yen yen yen.

The messy matter began when the Super Eagles flunked two World Cup qualifying games, drawing at home to Bafana Bafana of South Africa and losing away to a lowly rated Squirrels of Benin Republic at a neutral ground in Cote d’Ivoire, which is Benin’s home since their country had no befitting stadium to host any international match; can you beat that?

George was then the newly appointed coach of the Nigerian side and the general feeling was that his lack of technical and tactical know-how was major reason the Eagles stumbled. But days after, a report leaked from the meeting the former coach had with Nigeria’s football federation(NFF) where it was alleged that Osimhen wanted to be begged to play both matches and he (George) was not ready to beg any player. It was like George was looking for who to blame for his perceived incapacity. This infuriated Osimhen who made that live video, which is being widely condemned.

Well, according to another report, George said he never mentioned Osimhen’s name but admitted saying he will not beg any player to play; so, who was or were the players he was not ready to beg? Moses Simon who he did not invite or Troost Ekong who he stripped of the captaincy of the Eagles or Victor Boniface who he invited but refused to field despite his last season’s fantastic performance for his German club side, Bayer Leverkusen?

Osimhen boldly claimed he was injured and called the ex-coach to excuse him. He said he showed him the MRI report and other proofs that he was unfit, so, who leaked the information from the meeting between the NFF and George that he said he was not ready to beg Osimhen?

Somebody is lying and T4T is not about to tell you who, here, rather what he would say is, cut Osimhen some slacks. The young man was ready to lay his life down for Nigeria at the last AFCON and for anybody to question his commitment was enough for him to fly off the handle like he did in that video. The issue should not be seen from the lenses of a junior ‘insulting’ a senior colleague. We too sabi play senior and junior game for dis Nigeria sef. Abegi.

Edmund Spice Is Calling EFCC
ONCE upon a time popular 90s pop star in Nigeria, Edmund Spice, who after his hit, Baby Can I hold You Tonight?, a remix of Tracy Chapman’s hit, ran to America, is back in Nigeria to bury his mother in law. The Edo State native has been regaling his fans with videos and photographs since his arrival in Nigeria but that is not the news here.

At the burial reception, Edmund Spice performed well, he said he did it for his mother in law who was so sweet and nice to him while she was alive(that was so sweet), but as he performed, his wife was dancing and people were spraying her naira notes with some stepping on the notes.

What! Will Spice tell T4T and others that he was not aware of what took cross dresser, Bobrisky to prison presently and what may also take Cubana Chief Priest to prison if care is not taken?

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) are not smiling these days, in fact, their faces are like that of Lagos ‘agbero’ wey dey collect money from danfo, okada and keke. What shocked T4T is that, Edmund Spice had the guts to post the video on his Facebook Timeline and as at the time T4T saw it, it had over 37 comments. Na the same people wey dey hail am for the comments section so go tag EFCC for the post. Nigerians sabi dat kain tin.
As things stand, it is either Edmund Spice is calling the EFCC or the EFCC are calling him, either ways, T4T prays none of them should pick the call if not, he may not be going back America soon…

Someone May Kill This Content Creator Soon Unless Police Step In
SOME weeks ago, T4T petitioned the Nigeria police to rein in this particular online content creator lest he kills someone or someone kills him, little did he know that his prediction was about coming to pass soon. He was however lucky this latest incident did not lead to his death.

Content creator known as DPC Comedian aka Agaba goes about hunting for girls who in his moral estimation were indecently dressed and would force them home by throwing water on them. The latest girl he met in Asaba, Delta State, broke his head with a missile after he drenched her in water from a water bottle. T4T told him in the comments section of the video that he was lucky and he may use his hands to cause his own death soon if he continued on the same path. T4T had to get the mobile number of the police force PRO, Mr. Olumuyiwa Adejobi and sent the video to him via WhatsApp asking him if the police gave the young man the authority to do what he is doing to young girls. As at the time of filing this report, Adejobi had read the message but was yet to respond to it.
