Oro youth and Udom Emmanuel

Sir: Youths of Oro Nation in their numbers have reiterated their support for the Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel singing about their resolution to back him for another term in office.

The joy of the Youths who thronged the Oro Stadium venue for the reception organised the other day, in honour of Secretary to the State government, Emmanuel Ekuwem and the President General of Oro Union, Janet Amba, were robed in colorful attires, drumming and dancing with several cultural displays as they also celebrated their son and daughter.

The colourful event, which attracted the Who – is – who in the state and beyond had in attendance, His Excellency governor Udom Emmanuel and his wife, Deaconess Martha Udom Emmanuel, as well as, the Deputy Governor, Moses Ekpo and Speaker of AKHA, Rt. Hon. Onofiok Luke.

In a dramatic show of love and appreciation, the youth rallied in solidarity with Governor Udom Emmanuel for particularly, for fulfilling his promises on road constructions, building of classrooms, provision of social amenities, industrialization and earnestly working to ensure the vision of Ibom Deep Seaport will come through.

When His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel mounted the podium to give a speech at the event, the youth erupted with thunderous cheers to visibly demonstrate total satisfaction with the impressive performance of the governor as they all echoed chants of thank you to demonstrate support.

The Governor specifically commended the youth of Oro for being disciplined and not indulging in criminality. He charged them to continue to cooperate with the government for rapid development and progress, pledging to always carry the youth along in his government.
