SIR: Kindly allow me a space to commend the leadership and management of Nigeria Customs Service particularly the former Joint Committee of Commerce (JCC)

customSIR: Kindly allow me a space to commend the leadership and management of Nigeria Customs Service particularly the former Joint Committee of Commerce (JCC), now known as Customs Liaison Office at Cotonou on the recent achievements of bilateral issues with Beninoise.

There is no doubt that the agreement will create a healthy relationship between Nigeria and Benin Republic. The most important advantage of it is that the escorting of Tokunbo vehicles from Benin Republic port by Beninoise Customs to Nigeria Customs Service at Nigeria’s borders will not only increase revenue for Nigeria but it will also reduce the incessant clashes between Nigeria Customs Service men and smugglers. The Comptroller-General of Nigeria Customs Service, Alhaji Ideh Dikko, deserves to be commended for his untiring efforts in raising Customs Service to enviable position.
