The contest will hold at the famous Palaise De Sports in Cameroun’s capital, and Power Lee says he is enjoying the support of Nigerians in that country.
Power Lee, a native of Isoko, Delta State, arrived Yaounde four days ago with assurance that he would beat the Camerounian like a baby in front of his home fans.
The contest, a baby of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), will also feature wrestlers from other African countries, including Ghana, Liberia, Mali and Congo DRC.
He told The Guardian that he had what it takes to silence the Camerounian heavyweight champion.
“I am already in Cameroun for the big battle on September 19 (tomorrow), and I am enjoying the support of our people. They are aware of the rivalry between Nigeria and Cameroun when it comes to sports. Their female national team just defeated our Super Falcons in the semifinal in the ongoing All Africa Games in Congo and our people want me to avenge that defeat. I will do everything to beat ‘Le Matrquer’ like a baby,” Power Lee told The Guardian.
If Power Lee wins the battle of Yaounde tomorrow, he is expected to defend the crown within one month in Delta State or anywhere in Nigeria.
