Under the aegis of Small Holder Farmers, the women also decried bad cultural practices, poor technology, crop insurance, poor marketing of their produce as well as menace of cattle herdsmen who allegedly rape them in the farms while the cattle destroy crops. These, according to the women, are the key challenges holding back their prosperity in agricultural activities.

These constraints were highlighted yesterday during a one-day capacity building organised in Enugu by the Women Advocates’ Research and Documentation Centre (WARDC) in alliance with the USAID and Civil Resource Research and Documentation Center (CIRDDOC).
