Unpaid Pensions, Salaries: Imo Retired Perm Secs Run To Catholic Cleric, Seek God’s Intervention

pension fundIRKED that they are yet to be paid their pensions and salaries for months, retired permanent secretaries in Imo State, numbering about 95 and workers of the Imo House of Assembly Service Commission in Owerri have staged protests at different locations, asking again that their pensions and salaries be paid to them without further delay.
 
While the retired Permanent Secretaries led by Hyacinth Onyekwere and Fabian Agba, went to the Archbishop of Owerri Ecclesiastic Catholic Archdiocese, Dr. Anthony J. V. Obinna, to report the matter to him, and seek the face of God for urgent intervention, Imo House of Assembly Commission workers, were said to have protested, allegedly locking the accountant for his inability to made their three months salaries available.
