UNN Lagos alumni executives visit Utomi
Executive members of the University of Nigeria Alumni Association (UNAA) Lagos Branch have begun appreciation visits to some members of the association, who contributed immensely to the successful hosting of the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held recently.
Among prominent members visited was Prof. Pat Utomi.
The visit gave room for discussions on lineup of activities and projects yet to be implemented by the body both in Lagos and in the university campuses.
The exco through its president, Sir Orji Udemueze, appreciated every member who has supported the body and called on all graduates of the university to identify with the association and contribute their quota to the development of their alma mater.
Yesterday, the body held its general meeting at the UNN Lagos Liaison Office in Ikeja.
As part of the year’s activities, the president also announced that the alumni would be fully involved in the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Students’ Week scheduled to hold in the third quarter of 2018 and the Alumni Week (Lagos branch) which will comprise family picnic, charity visit, literary and science day and dinner by November 2018.
