The wife of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Mrs. Titi Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerian women to get their Permanent Voter Card (PVC), and vote credible leaders in 2019 general election.

Speaking at the 2018 Diocesan Women Conference, yesterday, in Abuja, Titi Abubakar asked women to participate actively in the forthcoming election and contest for leadership positions.

She said: “Through this, we shall raise a generation of conscientious leaders, who will have the fear of God to develop our dear nation. We as women must rise up to the task of reshaping our country, by providing our intuitive ideas to support Nigeria’s developmental ideals.

She advised women to endeavour to raise good children that would be capable of taking leadership positions.

Also, wife of the Primate and National President, Mothers’ Union/Women’s Guild of the church, Mrs. Nkasiobi Okoh, who urged women to be living epistles, appealed to youths not to allow themselves be used for electoral violence. She reminded them of their obligations to their fatherland.
