State house perm Sec not suspended, says presidency
The Presidency yesterday denied reports that the Permanent Secretary in the State House, Jalal Arabi has been suspended.A statement signed by Deputy Director (Information), Abiodun Oladunjoye and made available to State House Correspondents yesterday said the Permanent Secretary was not on suspension as erroneously reported in some quarters.
The statement said Arabi was at his desk dutifully attending to important state matters and was not under any probe or pressure, neither was he a subject of any enquiry.
It further explained that there was absolutely no truth also in the allegations leveled against Arabi and his office in the fictitious report published by an on-line medium.
“I remain committed and dedicated to the professional discharge of my duties and I refuse to be distracted by adversarial forces,” Arabi said.He attended the Friday Juma’at prayer with other Muslim faithful at the State House mosque with President Muhammadu Buhari.
