Bags of blood awaiting transfusion

In fulfillment of its Social Corporate Responsibilities (CSR), the Rotary Club of Lagos Island/Rotary Mega Club of Africa in partnership with African Industries Group Ltd, Agbara, Ogun State, has donated a blood bank to the community.

The project, which is aimed at providing medical assistance to the teeming masses, witnessed large turnout of willing donors, which included the executives and members of the club at the African Fertilizer and Chemical Nigeria Ltd premises, Agbara.

President of the club, Rotn. Sanjeev Tandon, who expressed gratitude to blood donors, said the project is the second joint project executed by both Rotary Club of Lagos Island and the firm.

“It was heartwarming to see the positive turnout of willing donors and I appreciate the many efforts contributed by all concerned, from the clubs, the corporate bodies, as well as other notable individuals with a passion to save lives through the blood bank free donation project, especially the Indians nation.
