Amidst criticisms of Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai’s second term bid, a group of persons living with disabilities have vowed to mobilise their members against his reelection next year.

Insisting that el-Rufai’s tenure in the state brought poverty and lack of development to the state since 2015 when he assumed office, the group vowed to collaborate with the electorate to vote any other credible candidate that would ameliorate their sufferings in 2019.

Led by Haruna Mahmud, they further alleged that El-Rufai failed to deliver his 2015 electoral promises to build a ministry for the disabled where they will be trained in different skills to take them off the streets and make them self-reliant.
