Petroman Publications set to hold POGA 2017

Petroman Publications Limited, publishers of Oilweek newspaper and Petroman magazine is set to hold an industry awards; the Petroman Oil & Gas Awards (POGA 2017), on Friday, May 26, at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event, organised in recognition of achievements in the oil and gas industry in the year 2016, is a major step in the company’s ongoing plan to add events to her portfolio of business. It will be an annual event including the quarterly Petroleum Platform, where industry leaders will proffer solution to trends and financial challenges plaguing the industry.

“POGA 2017 provides a platform for the Nigerian oil and gas industry to showcase their successes in the course of the year 2016 and to celebrate the advances made in the key areas of environmental stewardship, efficiency, innovation, corporate social responsibility, health and safety throughout the nation”, the management said in a press statement.

The awards which have received many nominations from many companies are in the following categories: Award for Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility; Award for Excellence in Health and Safety; Oilfield Services Company of the Year; Award for Local Content Excellence; Petroman Award – Excellence in Oil & Gas Industry Leadership (Petroman & Petrowoman); Energy Law Firm of the Year; Midstream Company of the Year; Upstream Company of the Year; Oil and Gas Financial Transaction of the Year.
