The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the November 18 governorship election in Anambra State Oseloka Obaze has lost his local government to the incumbent governor of the state and All Progressives Grand Alliance’s (APGA) Willie Obiano.

Obiano took Ogbaru Local Government with a total of 6, 615 while Obaze secured 4,416 votes to pull ahead of All Progressives Congress’s Tony Nwoye who had 3. 415 votes.

Obiano has also won ten other local governments so far announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with 122,688 votes while both Nwoye and Obaze trail with 55,961 and 40,767 votes respectively.

Osita Chidoka of UPP is in a distant fourth position with a paltry 2, 746 votes.
