PDP wins two cases at C’River tribunal

THE National and State Assembly Election Tribunal sitting in Calabar, Cross River State yesterday dismissed two cases in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Egbe Abeng Egbe (a.k.a Jabengo) of the Labour Party (LP) had gone to the tribunal challenging the election of Michael Etaba of PDP representing Obubra/Etung Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

It also dismissed the case brought against the member representing Calabar South 1 State Constituency, Okon Ephraim of the PDP by Effiong Ekarika of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
