pdp-logoTHE member representing Ikpobha-Okha/Egor Federal Constituency of Edo State, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, has dismissed insinuations that he was planning to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Agbonayinma, who made the denial yesterday while speaking with journalists in Benin City, also called on companies and churches to step up their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes to the people, a responsibility he noted, many churches were shirking.

“The problem of the country is leadership, if anyone has that at the back of his or her mind that I, Honourable Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma is planning to defect to any other political party, to me they are jokers. They just want to smear my name, I am a PDP member and I remain a PDP member. My victory today I owe to the PDP because they gave me the platform and PDP has not done anything whatsoever to even think of defecting,” he asserted.

The federal legislator, however, disclosed of intention to embark on a sensitisation tour of his constituency to drive home the advocacy.
