The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Oyo State has said that over 790,000 Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) are yet to be collected by the people of the state.

The state’s Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Mutiu Agboke, disclosed this at a stakeholders’ meeting in Ibarapa Zone held at the Eruwa Town Hall.

Agboke, who said the electoral umpire was concerned with the unclaimed PVCs despite the frantic effort by the commission, lamented that rather than political parties engaging in campaigns, what should be paramount in their agenda is sensitisation of the people on the need to collect their PVCs.
