The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole, said he is not bothered that some Senators and House of Representatives members dumped the ruling party for opposition parties.

15 senators and 32 members of the House of Representatives on Tuesday defected APC for the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Oshiomhole claimed the ruling party is “not disturbed at all” describing the members that left as “mercenaries” and people who constituted themselves as opposition to the party.

The party leader said he has no fears and believed the party members defection ahead of the 2019 election would enable the party to concentrate on its campaigns.

Oshiomole said he is assured of President Muhammadu Buhari’s reelection and wouldn’t be affected by the loss of party members.

More details soon.
