OZORO Progress Union (OPU) has congratulated the member representing Isoko Federal Constituency of Delta State Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor over his election as Minority Leader of the House of Representatives.

Its President, Clifford Anakpoha, while lauding the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus for the choice, described Ogor’s track record as Deputy House Leader in the seventh Assembly as sterling, adding that he distinguished himself as an exceptional leader with exemplary qualities.

“On behalf of Ozoro Kingdom and the good people of Isoko North Local Government Area and the entire Isoko nation, I congratulate you, our great son and leader, Rt. Hon. Leo Okuweh Ogor on the occasion of your election as Minority Leader of the Eighth National Assembly. Your eloquence and dedication to duty and immense contributions to debates and motions in the Seventh National Assembly made Isoko nation very proud to have elected you. In a House where many of your colleagues failed to move motions or sponsor bills, you dared and ‘fought’ many legislative ‘battles’ as you stood and provided leadership for our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
