Oil, gas confab takes place Tuesday in Abuja

THE fifth Upstream and Downstream Oil and Gas Expo is set to begin on September 22, 2015 at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.

The three-day conference and exhibition titled “Showcasing Nigerian Content with Technological Advancement,” is geared towards exhibiting equipment and tools, as well as discussing a wide range of industry activities, including offshore, onshore and midstream operational activities, according to the organisers.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of West African Oil and Gas Company, Dr. Kune Igoni, in a statement said that, “U & D Oil and Gas Expo 2015 is aimed at gathering global hydrocarbon key players with contractors, equipment manufacturers, decision and policy makers.”

Igoni stated that the plenary sessions would focus on policy and technology updates, panel discussions and case studies led by renowned industry leaders.

He further explained that delegates would be given the opportunity to hear from some of the most influential people in the industry.
