Ogun Chief Judge (CJ), Mrs Olatokunbo Olopade, has described Mrs Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo the late matriarch of the Awolowo dynasty, as “a good counselor with a very large heart.’’

She made the statement on Wednesday while speaking with newsmen during a condolence visit to the country home of the late sage Chief Obafemi Awolowo in Ikenne.

Olopade, accompanied by the Chief Registrar of the State judiciary and other top management staff, described Mama Awolowo as an `exemplary leader’ of the womenfolk in the state and the country.

She said that during her sojourn on earth, the deceased exemplified traits of a good family woman and a principled mother to everyone that came her way, saying she was a beneficiary of Mama’s wise counsel on different occasions.

“As a woman, mama Awolowo was an example of a good family woman with a very large heart; she was very generous to all that came her way, principled, firm and disciplined.

“I benefited from her large heartedness and good counsel whenever I approached her.

“Even, if you feel hurt, you will definitely feel at ease whenever she intervenes.

“Mama was always there for everyone, surely, we will miss her,” she said.
