Obiano delivers 2015 SMC lecture
Governor Willie Maduabuchi Obiano of Anambra State will deliver the 2015 edition of the Distinguished Guest Lecture Series of the School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, scheduled to hold on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
According to a statement by Dr. James Tsaaior on behalf of the School, the lecture, with the theme: “Sustaining the Legacy of Growth and Development in Anambra State”, will take place at the Honeywell Group Auditorium of the Lagos Business School, the Ajah Campus of the University.
The lecture will be delivered to a generation of young and eager Pan-Atlantic University students, ready to make meaningful contributions to the rebuilding of our dear nation, as well as the general public.
“The Distinguished Guest Lecture Series” is intended to nurture a culture of robust debate on significant national issues and is geared ultimately towards raising and growing competent and qualified leaders with the right mentality and ethical values needed in building an emerging economy like ours.”
Governor Obiano will dwell, among other things, on the challenges of governance, politics and the development programmes in Anambra State. The event is also expected to be attended by distinguished guests, faculty members, and students of the university as well as the general public.
