DIRECTOR-General of Nigeria Youths Service Corps (NYSC) Brigadier- General Johnson Bamidele has urged corps members and members of the host community to patronise the health clinic built at the orientation camp, Wannune in Tarka local council of Benue state.

Bamidele, who made the plea yesterday at the NYSC orientation camp while commissioning the health clinic, commended the state coordinator, Mrs. Esther Atamenwan, and staff of the secretariat for keying into the wise initiative. He advised others to emulate her.

Earlier in her speech, Atanmewan said she was inspired to embark on the project when she coordinated Batch B orientation course in the camp, and discovered that the clinic was in a pathetic state.

” I, therefore, generated funds locally and spent same judiciously on this edifice. The DG also granted my request for MTN to mount its mast on the camp. It was with money realised from the process, proceeds from camp market, and some assistance from our main banker,Diamond Bank plc, that was used for the construction of this seven rooms clinic to the glory of God,” Atamenwan explained.
