WORRIED by increasing incidents of fraud arising from activities of job racketeers, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command has called on job seekers and members of the public to beware of those whose motive is to defraud them.

The state commandant of the corps, Alhaji Zakari Ibrahim Ningi, who gave the warning at the state headquarters while addressing journalists, explained that the action became necessary following series of reports and complaints received about the activities of such job racketeers.

According to the commandant, “we have warned members of the public and job seekers that the NSCDC is not recruiting, and that we are not doing replacement and urged them not to allow anyone to lure them to paying money under the pretext of employment.

“Let me restate again, no amount of desperation should push anyone to succumb to the temptation of employment syndicates or fraudsters to pay money into any bank account or send airtime to fraudsters in the name of securing a job,” he said.
