Night of Evidence draws worshippers from West African countries to Nigeria

Worshippers at the yearly interdenominational vigil and anointing service under the auspices of ‘Our Daily Manna’ at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos would wish for more.

The one night programme, convened by Bishop Chris Kwakpovwe, always draws worshippers from many parts of the country and West African countries such as Ghana, Ivory Coast, Republic of Benin among others.

Tagged “2017 Night of Evidence,” the event is always held after 21 days of fasting. Vendors took advantage of the mammoth crowd to make brisk businesses. Security operatives ensured that everyone that entered the venue came with good intension.

Prior to the Bishop’s ministration, the prayer time was preceded by praise and worship that charged the entire atmosphere with worshippers dancing and praising God.

The event was attended by Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who was represented by the Chaplain of Aso Rock, Pastor Seyi Malomo. Lagos State Governor was also represented by the acting Head of Service, Lagos State, Mrs. Folasade Adesoye while his wife, was represented by Ms. Joke Odeyemi. Others were Bishop Simeon Meremoth, Bishop Johnson Ekwe, Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Monday Igbuya and Senator Benjamin Donkor from Ghana among others.

Mrs. Patience Agbasa, 44, a public servant, who came all the way from Abuja said she has been participating in the yearly event because of what God has been doing for her.

Rev. Gabriel Imenger ,who came all the way from Gboko, Benue State gave testimony of spectacular things God has been doing in his life while Mrs. Margaret Ofomana, 52 said the programme has changed her life.
