MASSOB Blames South East Elite Over Relocation Of Boko Haram Inmates To Ekwulobia
The Movement for the Actualisation of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), has said that the elite class in Igboland should not cry fowl over the decision of the Federal Government to relocate Boko Haram inmates to Anambra state.
In an interview Friday evening, the Assistant Director of Information of the group, Sunday Okereafor, told The Guardian on that the influential persons should not kick against the relocation of the inmates, accusing them of patronising the inmates from the beginning.
Okereafor, who insisted that the only recognised MASSOB is that led by Chief Ralph Uwazurike, said the group would hold the top Igbo elites responsible for any bomb blast in the region.
“All their duplexes, filling stations, big businesses and edifices are either located in the North or guided by the same people they call Boko Haram. Why are they shouting paying people to protest against the Boko Haram people now in Anambra. They should stop fooling NdIgbo. MASSOB will hold them responsible for any bomb blast, for anything that happens to South Eastern Nigrria. This is exactly payback time of what they did in the North,” he lamented.
T
he MASSOB spokesman regretted that the elites such as politicians and big business men from the region do not engage their fellow Igbo people to guide them and their houses, but turned to solicit for their help to protest against the inmates in Anambra.
