By Bertram Nwannekanma A FEDERAL High Court in Lagos has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to supply the Action Congress (AC) with the current voters' register for the re-run elections into Osun-East Senatorial District of the National Assembly and Osogbo Local Council seat of the House of Assembly.

Delivering judgment in the matter, Justice Liman ruled that since the parties to the suit had agreed that it was imperative for the AC to have the voters’ register before the election, INEC should supply it with the current one and that they should return to the court on December 22 to report compliance with the order.

INEC had fixed December 12 for the re-run elections into the legislative seats, which became vacant when the Appeal Court sitting in Ibadan voided the election of Senator Iyiola Omisore of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Akintunde Adegboye of the AC.
