A non-government group, the Ado-Odo Development Foundation (ADF), Ado-Odo/Ota, Ogun State, has lauded the current senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District and governorship candidate of Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ogun State, Senator Akin Odunsi, for facilitating the construction of a modern community hall, as part of his constituency projects to Ado-Odo.

In a release signed by the secretary of the group, Wale Hassan, he said the action of the serving senator meets the community’s expectation from a political representative and democrat.

He stressed that the hall, which has just been completed, will in no doubt increase the social activities and infrastructural development of the area.

The secretary charged all political office holders and political office seekers to always spread dividends of democracy to the people they represent and to also imbibe the culture of giving back to the society in order to compliment government’s efforts, as government alone cannot do everything.

He said the senator in the last three years has touched all the five Local Governments he is currently representing in the Upper Legislative Chamber.

Hassan therefore thanked Odunsi for his gesture with an appeal for an urgent attention to the rehabilitation of Ado-Odo-Badagry road, which is in a very deplorable condition.

While thanking Chief Mufutau Agbogunlori and his family, the Oniyanka family, who donated an acre of land for the hall, he used the opportunity to call on sons, daughters and friends of Ado-Odo to come together for the development of the area.
