FakeyeTHE Supreme Head, Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Worldwide, Ayo Ni O, Most Rev. Samuel Abidoye on Thursday hailed late Apostle Fakeye`s exemplary life. Abidoye made this known during a condolence visit to the family of the late Gabriel Fakeye of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement.

“I was not expecting him to die at this time, he was one of those people that I was thinking when am gone he would be able to take care of the church, but this was what God did. However, we will forever remember him for his good work in the Church and for his exemplary life, his name will never be erased in the church, he was a great prophet,” he said.

Apostle Alexander Bamgbola, Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Lagos State Chapter, described the late cleric as a humble, sincere and a great man of God.

“He was a Great man of God, a man who truly serve God in humility, in peace and in sincerity of purpose, a man who stood for the truth. CAN will respect him until the end of time, he was a great man of God. He was a pillar in the mist of CAN, in the church, in our nation. We thank God for what the Lord used him to do, and his death is not a loss to us, it’s a gain, because what we say we loss is a gain to God.”

Also speaking, one of his children, Mr. Olumide Fakeye, said the death of his father was not a loss as he has touched many lives. “My fathers’ death is not a loss, to me, it was his time to exit into another journey of life, he has left legacies, he is not just a man, he was more than a man, he was like an angel, I will miss him,’’ he said.
