Niger State governor mourns John Madaki
Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State has mourned the death of a former military governor of Kastina State, Col. John Madaki.
The governor described Madaki’s death as a great loss, not only to the military, but also to the entire Niger State.
The late Madaki, who was a one-time Commander, Brigade of Guards died on Monday in Abuja after a brief illness.
Bello said the death of the former military governor was a colossal loss, at a critical time when the country required his wealth of experience in the military.
The governor added that his contributions would have been useful in suppressing armed insurgency and kidnapping, which are presently ravaging some states in the country.
