ABIA State chapter of the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) has decried the arrears of salaries to some members, stating that it would take necessary steps towards its payment.
The new leader of the chapter, Comrade Hope Okechi Ekwuribe, made this declaration after his election during the state quadrennial delegates conference in Umuahia.
He disclosed that his administration would build a functional state secretariat, resolve any existing crisis in the branch, improve members’ welfare and work in concert with all branches to move the body forward.
