Bali and Lau Local Government Area of Taraba State have benefitted from rural electrification projects, worth several millions of naira, courtesy of the state government.

Like Bali, where several transformers had been commissioned and the people already enjoying steady power supply, Lankaviri village was also linked to the national grid,

Reiterating his administration’s readiness to spread development to the nooks and crannies of the rural areas, the Governor, Darius Dickson Ishaku said he needs to reciprocate the trust reposed in him, by providing the people with necessary facilities.

Stressing his interest in grassroots development, the governor said his administration would ensure that the current power situation in the state improves substantially.

This, he said, would be achieved by “engaging private power supply companies and exploring renewable energy sources, such as small hydro Power Plants to support the accomplishment of the rescue agenda.”
