Commissioner for Agriculture, Oluwatoyin Suarau who gave this charge yesterday during his monitoring visit to the Agricultural Development Authority Complex Oko-Oba, Agege, noted that monitoring mechanism has been put in place to ensure fair sales, on the basis of first-come, first-serve.

While noting that the prices of the product has not changed, he said that the 50kg bag of Lake Rice is sold for N12, 000 while the 25kg and 10kg is being sold at N6, 000, and N2, 500 respectively.

Speaking after a two-day workshop to review the Year 2015 Action Plan, the group stated that it observed that there were some disparities in the Action Plan compared to what was contained in the advert published in one of the national dailies.

The communique, endorsed by the participants, was put together by a nine-man committee that included Executive Director, Human Development Initiative, Mrs Olufunso Owasanoye and Founder, Out-of-School children Empowerment Foundation (OSCEF), Mr Akeem Kelani, with the participatants stating that in line with the inclusive education policy of Lagos State, the LSUBEB should remember to include infrastructure and commodities for the benefits of people with special needs/People Living with Dissabilities (PLWD).
