The Kwara State Police Command has debunked an online report, which claimed that the mother of the Prosecuting Counsel to Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), Rotimi Jacob (SAN) received threat messages from unknown persons in the state.

The report linked the purported threat with alleged hard line stand of Jacob, who is prosecuting Senate President Bukola Saraki’s case before the CCT.

According to the report: “There were plans by unknown persons to abduct the woman believed to be residing in Omu-Aran, the headquarters of Irepodun Local Council of Kwara as a bargain for alleged haphazard prosecution of the matter.”
